The Village of the Hidden Singing Birds

In 1982 he moved to live in the Hauraki Gulf on Pip, a small sailing boat he had built. Based around Waiheke Island, he divided his time between writing poetry, Bahá´í activities and carpentry jobs. This poem was published in Feeding Harbour (1984) and printed in Arts Dialogue, March 1995.
