My performances are often low-key interventions with the public and my first performance work: "Savour the Experience" (1993) was response to marketing one's artwork. It was also a response to the idea that 'real' art involved the dealer gallery system. These one-to-one performances focussed on the process and mutability of meaning in art. "Change is a Law of Nature" (1996) took meaning in works of art a step further. In these exchanges, issues were raised relating to value as part of meaning.
